agree w/you both. for my wife and all my bros, even facebook sometimes requires more work than it's worth for them. for my wife it's just easier for her to SMS or call her friend vs using the any new media sites to get the conversation going.

Totally agree. People will use whatever technology they have access to to facilitate whatever conversation / dialogue they want to have.

As early adopters, we get carried away and think that everyone should be on Twitter / Friendfeed / insert next big thing, when we need to remember that a lot of people, especially those who don't work in office jobs have a limited amount of time for this sort of thing and will always reach for the easiest tool to facilitate their needs.
